This role is in the Media Platform team, where we heavily leverage open source software, kubernetes, and cloud technologies to build a single central platform for managing compute, storage, orchestration, data science tooling, monitoring, and so much more. Our platform already deals with tens of petabytes of data, hundreds of thousands of cpus and millions of containers every month, and it is continually growing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use your knowledge of open source, cloud, and devops technologies to implement new platform products for use across Nielsen’s product portfolio.
• Drive cost optimization and efficiency across the platform cloud portfolio.
• Improve our cloud and application security posture by increasing adoption of our security tool stack across our code bases.
• Mentor other platform team members to increase their technical and soft skills.
