Head Of Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function : oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the leadership team : analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, risks, efficiency levers, and support decision-making.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting for multiple business units (events, digital, brand experience) and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Manage working capital, cash management, vendor & client payment cycles – especially critical in event & experiential business where timing and cost control matter.
• Build and maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with statutory & regulatory requirements (GST, corporate law, audit, tax) and implement best practices in financial governance.
• Lead & develop the finance team : set up processes, train / mentor finance staff, establish dashboards / reports for management visibility.
• Collaborate closely with operations, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure project profitability, cost tracking, margin monitoring and cost-benefit analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and banks / financial institutions as needed.
