Freelance Data Engineer – Snowflake and Airflow

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake and Airflow. The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, implementing ETL processes, creating and optimizing data models, and ensuring data quality and integrity. This role will also involve building and maintaining data warehouses and providing analytics support to drive business intelligence initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering, including building, maintaining, and optimizing complex data pipelines
• Experience with Data Modeling and constructing efficient and scalable data models
• Expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, including developing and managing data warehouse environments
• Familiarity with Data Analytics for driving insights and supporting business intelligence efforts
• Experience working with Snowflake and Airflow is required
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education
