New Contract Opportunity – SharePoint Migration Engineer

We’re working with a leading global tech organisation that is looking for an experienced Sharepoint Migration Engineer to join out team.

Contract : 2 Months (Extendable)

Location : Remote

Start : Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute SharePoint Online migrations using ShareGate .

Develop and manage detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk assessments.

Perform pre-migration analysis, data mapping, and validation checks.

Execute migration batches and monitor progress to ensure successful completion.

Conduct post-migration validation to ensure data integrity, permissions accuracy, and functionality alignment.

Provide L3-level technical support , resolving complex migration and integration issues.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams for smooth migration execution.

Document migration processes, lessons learned, and recommend optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven hands-on experience in SharePoint Online migration using ShareGate .

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture , site collections, permissions, and content management.

Experience in troubleshooting migration failures and handling exceptions.

Solid understanding of PowerShell scripting for migration automation and post-validation tasks.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
