Trainee Software Engineer

Job descriptionHands-on experience with Laravel PHP framework with popular packages like Passport, Mix, Telescope, and Socialite. Familiarity with web servers like Nginx or Apache. Familiarity with dependency managers like Composer or NPM. Familiarity with preprocessor scripting languages like SCSS or SASS. Familiarity with REST APIs. Familiarity with search engines like Elasticsearch. Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using frontend and backend technologies. Collaborate with the Lead Software Engineer to system design, code, and deploy scalable solutions. Follow industry standards and best practices. Troubleshoot bugs and write clean, optimised code. Integrate APIs and work on third-party services.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in building and maintaining both front-end and back-end web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in software development using modern frameworks and technologies.
Internship Duration : 6 months
Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, MariaDB or MSSQL.
- Knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP.
- Understanding of version control systems like GIT and cloud GIT repositories like BitBucket or GitHub.
- Basic knowledge of Linux distribution-based OS like Ubuntu.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
