Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Software Engineer (MERN & WordPress) role located in Bengaluru. The role involves responsibilities such as developing and maintaining web and application solutions using the MERN stack and WordPress. The engineer will engage in software development, troubleshoot coding issues, write efficient code, and optimize system performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and ensuring robust back-end functionality will also be integral to this role.

What You'll Do :

The "Now" : Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress sites. You'll go beyond page builders, writing clean PHP, and building custom themes / plugins.
The "Now" : Assist in building and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack for our clients and internal tools.
The "Future" : Ensure every site you build is a "clean feed" for AI : lightning-fast (Core Web Vitals), perfectly responsive, and structured with clean schema to be "chosen" by AI agents.

Core Skills & Tools :

MERN Stack : Solid understanding of MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js .

WordPress : Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and the WordPress ecosystem. Experience building custom themes / plugins is a huge plus.

Fundamentals : Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Workflow : Familiarity with Git and version control.

Bonus : Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and a basic understanding of SEO tech.
