We are expanding our India operations and seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to strengthen our internal IT infrastructure and user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage and resolve IT tickets within defined SLAs through the internal ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and meeting-room equipment.
  • Support and maintain local network infrastructure : switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Perform MS365 administration, including user account provisioning, license management, mailbox support, security configurations, and Teams / SharePoint support.
  • Handle user onboarding / offboarding including device setup, account creation, and access provisioning.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Apply software updates, OS patches, and help enforce IT security policies.
  • Work with external vendors for hardware repairs, purchase, warranty claims, etc.
  • Provide basic IT training to employees and create / update IT SOPs and knowledge base documentation.
  • Support implementation and management of MDM solutions (good to have).
  • Potential future involvement in Microsoft Intune setup / administration as part of MDM strategy (not mandatory but beneficial).
  • Participate in after-hours support when required for critical needs.
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk / Desktop Support roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, basic macOS & Linux troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (MS365) administration—user management, licenses, security policies, Exchange / SharePoint / Teams administration.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP), VPN technologies, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and identity management.
  • Familiarity with device management / MDM tools is a plus (e.g., Intune, Workspace One, MobileIron).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune concepts (even basic exposure) is an advantage as the company may adopt Intune in future.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM practices.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Certifications (good to have) : Microsoft 365 certifications, CompTIA A+, CCNA, ITIL.
