🔵 We Are Hiring – Account Manager (Business | Merchandising & Sourcing)

📍 Bangalore | 🏢 Buying House

🧾 Experience : 13+ Years

🎓 Education : Textile / Apparel Management or Business

💼 Reports To : VP – Account Management & Customer Success

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead key customer accounts with full ownership of business delivery, profitability, merchandising, sourcing, and operational excellence. This role is the primary bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring quality products, timely delivery, and strong account growth.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Customer Account Management

  • Single point of contact for all customer requirements
  • Align on briefs, product expectations & timelines
  • Build strong relationships with brand / buying office partners
  • Ensure on-time, in-full delivery as per agreed specs

Merchandising & Sourcing

  • Lead end-to-end merchandising, sourcing & production follow-up
  • Coordinate across design, sampling & production teams
  • Manage supplier base for quality, cost & delivery efficiency
  • Track all orders against critical path timelines
  • P&L Ownership

  • Own revenue, cost, and profitability for assigned accounts
  • Monitor margins through detailed MIS and analysis
  • Drive cost optimization & vendor negotiation improvements
  • Team & Process Management

  • Lead and mentor merchandisers & sourcing teams
  • Build systems, SOPs & dashboards for account performance
  • Ensure smooth order tracking, approvals & dispatch
  • MIS & Reporting

  • Manage all account MIS, shipment status & business reviews
  • Present periodic performance reports to management
  • Maintain high data accuracy for informed decision-making
  • 🔹 Key Requirements

  • 13+ years in merchandising, sourcing, or account management (buying house / export / garment manufacturing)
  • Strong experience in PD, sourcing, costing & supply chain
  • Proven ability to manage large accounts end-to-end
  • Strong leadership, communication & analytical skills
  • High ownership mindset and execution discipline
