Java Software Engineer

You will be responsible for building world-class technology products and platforms that are at the forefront of the technology revolution in the Indian payments ecosystem. You are someone who insists on the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance. You will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality solutions that have an immediate business impact.

Responsibilities :

Design and develop high performance, scalable, robust and reliable applications using java & Spring

Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team

Write automated unit and integration tests as appropriate to support continuous integration pipelines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams that include developers, QA, product owners, TPMs to implement the extensible and scalable solution

Evaluating third parties APIs and capabilities to integrate with product

Creation and maintenance of proper documentation for Design, Architecture, API specs, interfaces etc.

Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, etc.

Desired profile of the candidate :

Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other modern java stack technologies

Relational databases like Oracle / PostgreSQL / MYSQL and any NoSQL database

Must have experience with REST and XML / JSON / Protobuf

Strong technical knowledge on various streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache / Redis etc

Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, Swagger etc

Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Veracode etc

Application security standards like OWASP

Git (Gitlab / Github)

Strong analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Keep up the pace with the latest technology and developments in the industry

Good to Have :

Knowledge in the Payments domain

Cloud-Native Design & Containerisation (Docker)

Knowledge of AWS (Or any other Cloud Platform)

Minimum Qualification :

BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / ME (Preferably Computer Science ) from a Tier-1 / 11 Engineering Institute

Experience : 4 to 7 years
