Job descriptionDesign and execute rigorous validation processes for new opportunity hypotheses, utilizing primary customer research, expert interviews, competitive analysis, and prototype testing. Develop robust financial models and business cases to assess the market size, potential ROI, and strategic value of new opportunities. For opportunities that pass validation, lead the initial incubation phase. This includes defining initial product-market fit, building minimal viable products (MVPs) or prototypes, and running pilot programs with early customers. Coordinate cross-functional resources (e.g., engineering, design, product, finance) to accelerate the incubation process. Build and leverage a network of external contacts (startups, academics, industry experts, venture capitalists) to serve as a radar for emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities. Clearly and persuasively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior leadership to inform strategic investment decisions. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus. 5+ years of experience in a strategy role such as corporate strategy, venture capital, management consulting, product management, or business development within a technology context. Proven experience in market analysis, new venture development, or managing early-stage innovation projects. Deep understanding of the IoT technology stack, competitive landscape, and key market drivers. Superior analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience building business cases from the ground up. Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguity, developing structure around poorly defined problems. Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

- Conduct continuous and proactive scanning of the IoT ecosystem to identify emerging technologies, new business models, competitor moves, and untapped market whitespaces.
- Develop insightful research and synthesis reports on long-term trends, disruptions, and potential threats to the current business.
