Job description

Job Opportunity

  • As a key player in our application life cycle, you will lead the research, design, development, testing and continuous deployment and delivery of Fleet Management Systems (FMS).
  • You will design, develop and optimize mission-critical systems that orchestrate the movement of automated and semi-automated equipment across global terminals.
  • Develop complex, highly available, distributed, cloud agnostic solutions with high levels of quality.
  • Provide technical leadership to globally distributed team members.
  • Lead design and code reviews for best user experience, performance, scalability and future expansion.
  • Work directly with peer R&D groups, IT teams and Business Operations teams.

    • Qualifications / Experience Expectation

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on enterprise software development experience.
  • Hands on experience in developing Fleet Management Systems (FMS) is highly preferred.
  • Working expertise in functional programming F# is a must.
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience of graph theory, pathfinding algorithms and optimization techniques.

    • Technical Capabilities

  • Excellent design and programming skills in backend using F#, .NET Core and .NET.
  • Strong design and development experience in distributed, clustered and multi-threaded applications.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms.

    • Requirements

  • Object-oriented design, Design Patterns and multi-threaded programming.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture frameworks.
  • Unit and integration tests across all components.

    • Preferred Experience

  • Modular development of enterprise level applications.
  • Development experience with Fleet Management Systems (FMS).
