About the Job :

CommentSold is looking for a Web Developer to join our team in our office. This role is responsible for the coding, design, and maintenance of our website. The developer will ensure visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly sites with clear navigation and seamless performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Plan, design, and deliver responsive web applications across multiple platforms.
  • Implement contingency plans to ensure minimal downtime and quick recovery in case of issues.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure website functionality, security, and performance.
  • Monitor website performance using analytics and diagnostic tools, optimizing for speed and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop, and deploy web content.
  • Maintain, update, and optimize existing website features and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance site capabilities.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT (Associate degree acceptable with relevant experience).
  • 3- 5 years of proven work experience as a Web Developer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in HTML / XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, and Java.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

    • Preferred Skillsets :

  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or similar).
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with backend integration and APIs.
  • Understanding of security protocols and best practices in web development.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for web hosting and deployment.
