Job description

Database Developer

Experience : 4+ years

Location : Bangalore

Must Have : SQL Development, Azure Data Factory, ETL Processes

The Ideal candidate will have a strong command of SQL, experience with ETL processes, and a deep understanding of data modelling and database performance tuning .

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain complex relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter.
Design and implement data models (normalized and denormalized) for transactional and analytical purposes.
Monitor, maintain, and improve database security, integrity, and availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

4+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management.

Strong proficiency in SQL and emajor RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).

ETL tools Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.

building ETL pipelines to load data into Snowflake

data modelling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization).

performance tuning and query optimization.

version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL ).
