Job description

Role Summary for a Bakery Chef Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manages all day-to-day operations by maintaining the required ingredients .
  • Follow proper handling and possess complete knowledge on the temperature of food products, regulations for preserving etc
  • Engage, coordinate and supervise all food preparation and presentation activities with the team.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met
  • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
  • Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met for the team.
  • Maintains cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards

Required Education and Experience

  • 5+years hands on experience in the Bakery and confectionery industry.
  • Diploma or equivalent in the relevant industry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptionally good with the Bakery activities from the ground work.
  • operating knowledge of Cakes, Confectionery, and Bakery products industry
  • Ability to work with diverse group of staffs
  • Location : Chennai, Mylapore
