Role Summary for a Bakery Chef Roles and Responsibilities
- Manages all day-to-day operations by maintaining the required ingredients .
- Follow proper handling and possess complete knowledge on the temperature of food products, regulations for preserving etc
- Engage, coordinate and supervise all food preparation and presentation activities with the team.
- Ensuring quality standards are met
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures.
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
- Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met for the team.
- Maintains cleanliness in all work areas.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards
Required Education and Experience
5+years hands on experience in the Bakery and confectionery industry.Diploma or equivalent in the relevant industry.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Excellent interpersonal communication skillsExceptionally good with the Bakery activities from the ground work.operating knowledge of Cakes, Confectionery, and Bakery products industryAbility to work with diverse group of staffsLocation : Chennai, Mylapore
