Urgent Search : Interior Designer

Job Purpose :

To create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior designs tailored to client requirements while ensuring alignment with Dream Dots Interiors’ standards and execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering

 Meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, budget, and functional needs.

 Present design concepts, mood boards, and sample materials.

2. Design Development

 Prepare 2D layouts, 3D renders, and working drawings as per project scope.

 Select color schemes, materials, finishes, and furnishings.

 Ensure designs balance creativity, practicality, and cost-effectiveness.

3. Project Coordination

 Collaborate closely with the production and execution teams to ensure all designs are practical and feasible.

 Conduct site visits for accurate measurements, validation of layouts, and progress checks.

 Provide timely technical guidance and clarifications during production, installation, and handover stages.

4. Documentation & Compliance

 Create detailed drawings and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

 Ensure designs follow safety, ergonomic, and sustainability standards.

5. Quality & Handover

 Review execution work to ensure alignment with approved designs.

 Support the project team during final handover and attend to design-related corrections.

Key Skills Required

 Strong creative and visualization skills.

 Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Infurnia Preferred (or equivalent software).

 Knowledge of materials, finishes, and modular furniture.

 Good communication and presentation skills.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

 2 + years of relevant experience in residential / commercial interior design.

 Portfolio showcasing past projects is mandatory.

 Salary : 30K to 50K
