ArcelorMittal is looking for : Senior Engineer

Tasks :

The Team Lead mission will be :

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using technologies such as Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, PHP, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Ajax

Create and manage REST APIs for mobile and web applications

Work on the development and maintenance of admin panels, customer portals, and service provider applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, certificate creation, validation, and API integration

Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

Utilize project management tools such as JIRA and version control systems like Git

Provide support for production issues, including bug fixing, vulnerability fixes, and database optimizations

Deploy immediate updates and fixes as required

Create and execute the roll-out plan

Emerging technologies / industry trends watch and apply them when relevant.

All these activities must be handled in full compliance with the IT General Compliance rules and the SOX rules that are applied in the ArcelorMittal group.

What you will need :

BE / BTech / Any Master's Degree

Over 3-4 years of experience in web application development and maintenance

Proficiency in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, HTML, CSS, and Ajax

Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

Experience with web servers like Apache and Nginx

Familiarity with development tools such as PyCharm, VS Code, Gitbash, Postman, and Sublime

Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and MVC architecture

Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with the software development life cycle

Other applicant attributes considered as a plus :

Understanding of ITIL, SOX / ITGC principles.

Experience in developing e-commerce, education, and social media applications

Flexibility and adaptability to new technologies and environments

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Languages : English (fluent)
