Senior DevOps Engineer - Docker / Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS (ECS) and other cloud platforms.
• Manage and optimize container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain automated CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Write and maintain scripts to automate tasks using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Implement and enforce DevSecOps best practices to ensure security at every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Monitor infrastructure and application health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack; perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams in an Agile environment.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with security standards including ISO 27001.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to infrastructure and processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents Skills & Qualifications :
• 6+ years of experience in software development, operations, or infrastructure management.
• Proven track record managing DevOps in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS ECS and Office 365.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, security principles, and cloud-native security best practices.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• AWS certification(s) is a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of ISO 27001 protocols and compliance requirements.
