Job descriptionA VMC operator uses a Vertical Machining Center (VMC) to cut shape and form metal parts . - Operate and monitor VMC machines to produce metal parts according to specifications Load and unload materials onto the machines Set up and adjust machine tools as necessary Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machines Ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to safety and quality standards Set up and operate VMC machines according to established procedures and production schedules including loading raw materials and tooling. using hand tools in the manufacturing process. - Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints / Drawing Reading. - Proficiency in operating VMC machine.
