We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Performance Architect to join the Client’s GPU & SoC Architecture Group . The role focuses on performance analysis, system-level debugging, and architecture exploration for next-generation GPUs and SoCs powering AI / ML, automotive, graphics, and high-performance computing platforms.
This position offers the unique opportunity to influence hardware + software across some of the most advanced computing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Architecture Analysis
- Perform performance and bottleneck analysis of complex GPUs and System-on-Chips (SoCs).
- Analyze and debug issues using performance models, RTL test benches, emulators , and cycle-accurate models.
Architecture Exploration
Collaborate with architecture and design teams to evaluate trade-offs across performance, area, and power .Understand and evaluate key product use cases across graphics, ML, automotive, vision, and compute applications.Workload & Test Development
Develop workloads, benchmarks, and test suites to stress and evaluate GPU / SoC subsystems.Identify representative datasets and help build methodology for early performance analysis.Tooling & Infrastructure
Develop and enhance performance simulators, testbench components , and analysis tools.
Essential Requirements (Must-Have)
3+ years of experience in SoC / GPU / CPU performance architecture or analysis .Strong understanding of :System-on-Chip (SoC) architectureGPU / graphics pipelineCPU architectureMemory subsystem architectureNetwork-on-Chip (NoC) / Interconnect architectureStrong programming skills in C / C++ and scripting with Python / Perl / Bash .Experience debugging complex HW / SW issues using RTL dumps, performance traces , and statistical / data analysis.Exposure to performance models, simulators, emulators , or pre-silicon analysis frameworks.Excellent communication and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
MS / MTech or PhD with specialization in computer architecture, SoC / GPU architecture, or related areas.Experience with Verilog / SystemVerilog , SystemC / TLM .Hands-on with GPU APIs such as CUDA, OpenGL, DirectX.Strong data analysis & visualization experience (e.G., Pandas, Jupyter, visualization tools).Domain knowledge in graphics , machine learning , or high-performance computing workloads.Contact- neha@bestnanotech.in
