Role description

About the Role

Appraising proposals of Loans, inspecting relevant documents and conducting risk analysis for portfolio.

Sanctioning loans within defined TAT For All India as Central Underwriting head. Arranging Training as required. Improvising Process as per market need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approval Rates, basis the target will be reviewed for the year for the location - Approval rates for all the locations - for the full year.
  • Approval Rates-CC / OD / Card Power / Secured Loans, basis the target will be reviewed for the year, for the location - Approval rates for all the locations - for the full year.
  • Turn around time (TAT) from Login to Sanction - Login to Sanction for all products as confirmed.
  • Turn around time (TAT) - Legal & Technical - L&T login to L&T Sanction for all secured products as confirmed.
  • Early Warning Signal- Location wise FPD for term Loans - Location-wise FPD % for Business Loan as confirmed.
  • Risk Management
  • Audit & Compliance, Basis Internal & Concurrent audit conducted & Report submitted. - Based on Internal & Concurrent audit conducted & Report submitted
  • PSL Accuracy at product level needs to be maintained. Source- Audit report.
  • Review, Renewal, Pendency - Timely inspection, Monitoring of accounts
  • Training, Process improvement, Special assignment, support provided to Existing CPC, policy feedback, vendor management, participation in pilot runs / testing etc. Feedback from CO team & Zonal Credit Manager / National Credit Manager - Job enrichment & Training initiative, Support to new locations & products. Feedback from Head Credit - & Other stake holders will be the source.
  • Qualifications

    CA / MBA Finance with Credit Appraisal, expertise in the areas

    Role Proficiencies :

  • Working knowledge of all retail banking product
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
  • Working knowledge of handling Customer Service
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
