Type : Full-Time Contract (6 months, extendable)

Location : Remote / Work-from-Home

Experience : 3+ years

Compensation : ₹45,000-55,000 per month (based on experience)

About the Role

We are hiring a dedicated Python Django Developer for a full-time contractual role to work on backend development, API creation, integrations, and feature enhancements. The candidate should be capable of independently handling assigned modules and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a 6-month contract , with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Python , Django , and Django REST Framework (DRF) .
• Build scalable REST APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Implement authentication, user management, and role-based access features.
• Design and manage relational databases ( PostgreSQL / MySQL ).
• Optimize SQL queries, create migrations, and maintain data integrity.
• Work with caching systems (Redis preferred).
• Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, SMS / email services, cloud tools).
• Support deployment on cloud platforms like AWS , DigitalOcean , or similar.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI / CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security best practices.
