Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager position based in Mumbai. The SEO Manager will take charge of planning, implementing, and managing the company's SEO strategy to improve online visibility and rankings. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth SEO audits, performing keyword research, managing link-building strategies, analyzing web performance metrics, and collaborating with the marketing team to optimize content. The role requires a results-oriented professional who can consistently drive organic growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEO Audits and the ability to identify and address optimization opportunities
• Proficiency in Keyword Research and developing effective keyword strategies
• Expertise in Link Building and implementing ethical strategies to improve domain authority
• Strong skills in Web Analytics and using data to inform decision-making and strategies
• Knowledge of Marketing principles and integrating SEO with digital marketing initiatives
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Relevant experience in the real estate or urban development sector is a plus
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred

What You'll Do

• Build and execute SEO strategies aligned with business goals
• Perform technical SEO audits (crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, performance)
• Drive on-site content optimization based on user intent and search trends
• Plan and implement white-hat link-building initiatives
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend studies
• Translate SEO data into actionable insights and growth recommendations
• Prepare clear performance reports tied to next-step strategies
• Act as SEO subject-matter expert in internal and client meetings
• Collaborate with Social, Content, Paid Media, Creative, Development & UX teams
• Partner with Client Services & Project Management to deliver projects on time and within scope
• Stay ahead of algorithm updates, AI-powered search changes, and evolving SEO best practices

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Technical SEO (indexing, crawling, schema, CWV, site performance)
• Proficiency in tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, BuzzSumo, Google Analytics, Search Console & GTM
• Expertise in keyword research, content optimization & search intent mapping
• Ability to analyze data, uncover insights, and recommend improvements
• Experience managing multiple SEO projects with tight timelines
• Problem-solver mindset with adaptability to search engine changes
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments

Bonus: Experience with AI-assisted SEO tools, automation, or programmatic SEO
