Mechanical Engineering Design

Job Summary :

This role covers all mechanical aspects of the design process including specification, detailed design, artifact design, build definition, release and maintenance of bill of materials into PDM / SAP system and certification of the final product.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain BOM lists, material requests, and assist in implementing customer change requests.

Conduct detailed 3D design and 2D drafting with reasonable tolerance setting to ensure manufacturability and assembly accuracy.

Solve structural issues and troubleshoot problems during product development; lead design reviews to ensure smooth transition to mass production.

Draw pneumatic diagrams and assembly diagrams to describe the functional relationship of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.

Prepare and update equipment-related documents.

Cross team collaboration and support where needed.

Support new fixture / equipment introduction and process validation activities.

Technical Skills : It is better to have relevant knowledge of mechanical processing and parts mold making to assist in the research and development of institutional equipment.

Soft Skills : Familiar with drawing software AutoCAD 2D、Solidworks 2D / 3D software operation.

Tools : Proficiency in MS Office, PDM / SAP systems is an advantage.
