Key Responsibilities For Construction Chemical Core - Project Sales
Business Development & Sales
a) Generate sales of construction chemical products (e.g., admixtures, waterproofing, grouts, flooring, repair, and protective systems) through project sales.
b) Identify, target, and develop relationships with builders, contractors, consultants, and government / semi-government agencies.
c) Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
Specification & Approvals
a) Work with consultants and architects to get company products specified in tender documents.
b) Ensure product approvals for projects at design and execution stage.
Project & Account Management
a) Track ongoing and upcoming projects through market intelligence, visits, and networking.
b) Manage key accounts by providing technical and commercial support.
c) Coordinate with applicators and distributors to ensure timely supply and application.
Technical & Commercial Coordination
a) Provide product presentations and technical demonstrations to stakeholders.
b) Support project execution teams by resolving site-related queries.
c) Prepare and submit commercial proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalize deals.
Market Development
a) Conduct regular market mapping and competitor analysis.
b) Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and industry networking events to promote products.
c) Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams for new developments.
Qualifications & Experience :
a) Education : B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil (preferred). MBA in Marketing / Sales would be an advantage.
b) Experience : 5-12 years of project sales experience in construction chemicals, building materials, cement, paints, or allied industry.
c) Strong network with consultants, architects, contractors, and government bodies is desirable.
