Job Description : Role Overview

As a Python Architect supporting Google, you’ll lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native solutions using Python. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect systems that power high-impact products, ensuring performance, security, and innovation at every layer.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement distributed systems using Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
Design microservices and APIs optimized for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through architectural reviews and best practices.
Lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement.
Integrate CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Python development, with 3+ years in architectural roles.

Expertise in Python frameworks (FastAPI preferred), RESTful API design, and asynchronous programming.

Strong experience with GCP services (Cloud Functions, Pub / Sub, BigQuery, Vertex AI).

Familiarity with DevOps tools : Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins.

Experience with scalable data pipelines, caching strategies, and performance tuning.

Solid understanding of security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification.

Experience with AI / ML integration using Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Background in high-availability systems and real-time data processing.

Familiarity with Google’s internal tools and engineering culture (a plus).
