Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer / Engineer - PF Tech Services (Oil Vibratn)

Job Purpose

Co-ordinate and conduct condition monitoring studies with NDT of plant. Vital equipments in assigned areas in Unit - II. Plant improvement studies to reduce fuel and power consumption and to improve process efficiency. Oil analysis for enhancing lubricants life by continuous monitoring, increasing plant equipment availability and to reduce maintenance cost by avoiding the breakdowns through condition monitoring. Conducting other NDT activities like Ultrasonic flaw detection, thickness measurement and hardness measurement.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Rajashree Cement is one of the single largest cement plants with an installed capacity to produce 4.2 million tons of cement / annum with captive power plant (38.5 MW) and mines, employing approximately 850 people. It manufactures a range of premium brand of cement and enjoys a reputation of giving value for money. It is one of the largest cement plant at a single location in the country. Rajashree Cement has opted for the Best World Class Technology equipment right from its inception.

The plant consists of 3 Lines, currently producing 2800, 3775 & 4800 tpd as against design of 2200, 3000 & 3500 tpd respectively.

JOB PROFILE -

To achieve Unit targets through Monitoring & Analysing the Health Condition of equipments through Vibration analysis, NDT , Lubrication management, Gearbox inspection & girth gear inspection, SAP Compliance to get extended life and cost reduction in by report submission, adhering all safety, quality systems.

• KRA 1 : To Predict defects for prevention of equipment failure through vibration analysis and to recommend necessary corrective actions to improve the plant availability by reducing the equipment downtime .
• KRA 2 : Assist superior in timely co-ordination and conduct condition monitoring studies with NDT instruments and gearbox inspection for critical equipments and to recommend necessary corrective actions to improve the plant availability by reducing the equipment downtime .
• KRA 3 : Lubrication Management - Assist superior in timely monitoring of lubrication schedule adherence and oil analysis to conserve lubricants consumption of major gear boxes and bearings .
• KRA 4 : Safety Assurance - Ensure implementation of all safety provisions for workmen & self.
• KRA 5 : To practice and maintain SAP, SDM(Shutdown management), ISO Systems and WCM culture.

Critical Job Competencies / Mandatory Skills

UT / MPT : Level-2 Certificate.
