Job Description :
As a Staff Accountant at Dozti, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. Your primary duties will include daily entry logging, preparing balance sheets, generating profit and loss (P&L) statements, managing accrual accounting, and maintaining organized financial documentation.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, disciplined, highly organized, and capable of working independently while coordinating with leadership. You will play an essential role in ensuring the financial health, accuracy, and transparency of Dozti and its portfolio companies.
Responsibilities :
- Record and maintain daily financial entries with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and update Balance Sheets , Profit & Loss (P&L) statements , and other financial reports.
- Execute and manage accrual accounting processes, including revenue and expense recognition.
- Maintain up-to-date general ledgers, journals, and transaction logs.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Organize and categorize financial documents for audits and internal review.
- Monitor cash flows, expenditures, and budget variances.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and financial analyses as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
Requirements :
1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.Strong understanding of accrual accounting , financial statements, and general accounting principles.Ability to prepare and interpret Balance Sheets and P&L statements with accuracy.Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Wave, or similar).Strong mathematical, analytical, and financial-reporting skills.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to organize and maintain clean financial records.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.High reliability, confidentiality, and professionalism.Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience managing finances for holding companies or multi-entity organizations.Familiarity with GST, TDS, or U.S. accounting concepts (if applicable).Experience preparing audit-ready financial records.Ability to automate or streamline accounting workflows.Comfort with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) including formulas and pivot tables.What We Offer :
