To lead and drive growth through indirect channels. Focus on identifying, recruiting, managing, and growing relationships with sales channel partners to achieve revenue targets and market expansion. Understands channel dynamics and has a proven track record in increasing sales through distribution networks.
Responsibilities
- Channel Partner Development & Management
- Identify and onboard new indirect sales partners
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners
- Conduct regular partner reviews and performance analysis
- Train and enable partners on product offerings, sales tools, and go-to-market strategies
- Sales Strategy Execution & Market Penetration
- Drive indirect sales through partner-led deals
- Set sales targets with partners and monitor performance against them.
- Collaborate with influencers (architects, contractors, consultants) to create pull demand
- Expand product visibility in underserved markets.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Provide feedback to internal teams for product improvement and market positioning
- Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Track, analyze, and report on indirect sales pipelines and weekly / monthly performance
- Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with production, technical coordination, finance and other support teams to ensure partner success
- Resolve partner-related conflicts or issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
7+ years of experience in B2B or channel sales within the building materials industry
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
Deep understanding of channel sales modelsStrong network of dealers / distributors and knowledge of local marketsExperience working with influencers like architects, builders, and contractorsFamiliarity with sales forecasting, territory management, and CRM systemsWillingness to travel extensively across assigned territory
