Job Overview :
The SAP PMO is responsible for overseeing and managing the Project Management Office for and transformation projects along with Onshore-offshore team coordination . This role ensures the successful delivery of SAP projects by maintaining governance, reporting standards, and risk management protocols . The SAP PMO Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and SAP implementation executive leadership to ensure projects align with business goals and deliver value.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Governance and Standards :
- Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices for SAP projects.
- Ensure compliance with PMO governance frameworks, including risk management, issue tracking, and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain project templates and documentation.
Planning and Coordination :
Coordinate project schedules, resources, and deliverables across multiple SAP workstreams (SAP S / 4HANA, IBP, PPDS, Analytics, Business Network).Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.Support project scoping, budget management, and resource allocation.Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership.Stakeholder Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business leads, IT teams, and third-party vendors.Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.Change and Risk Management :
Implement change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions.Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.Oversee issue resolution and ensure timely escalation as needed.Qualifications and Skills :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.Experience :
7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in SAP project management.Proven track record of managing mid to large scale SAP implementation and transformation projects (SAP S / 4HANA, IBP, PPDS).Certifications :
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.Skills :
Strong understanding of SAP solutions and modules (e.g., S / 4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, IBP, PPDS).Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager).Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional projects.Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Solution Manager.Why Join Us?
