About The Role :

Responsive is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer (Performance) to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of software systems.

You will design and execute performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and drive optimization strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

What You'll be doing ?

• Performance Testing & Optimization : Design, execute, and analyze load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner. Optimize system performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in web, API, and database layers.
• Test Automation & CI / CD Integration : Develop and integrate automated performance tests within CI / CD pipelines for continuous validation. Ensure seamless execution of performance tests in pre-production and production-like environments.
• Monitoring & Analysis : Utilize tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar to monitor system performance. Analyze CPU, memory, disk I / O, and network latency metrics to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Collaboration & Agile Practices : Work closely with development, QE, and DevOps teams to define performance requirements and acceptance criteria. Participate in design reviews, Agile ceremonies, and performance tuning efforts.
• Process Improvement & Best Practices : Continuously enhance performance testing methodologies, stay updated on emerging tools and trends, and drive knowledge sharing within teams.
