Cisco IOS-XE SD WAN Engineer

About The Role

We are urgently seeking a Cisco IOS-XE SD WAN Engineer to lead a mission-critical Viptela to IOS-XE SD WAN migration for a Fortune 500 client. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes engagement requiring a true expert who can architect solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute flawlessly under pressure.

If you have elite-level IOS-XE SDWAN experience, deep Viptela expertise, and the ability to start immediately—this is the opportunity to lead a major transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead an enterprise-wide Viptela → IOS-XE SDWAN migration across multiple sites
• Architect and validate IOS-XE SDWAN designs, templates, policies, and integration models
• Perform pre-migration assessments, POCs, and readiness checks
• Build comprehensive migration playbooks, templates, and runbooks
• Support maintenance windows, cutovers, and post-migration stabilization
• Optimize SDWAN performance, routing, security, and reliability
• Troubleshoot complex routing, overlay, IPsec, and OMP issues in production environments
• Collaborate with client architects, engineering teams, and leadership on design and strategy
• Provide clear technical documentation and progress updates throughout the engagement
