Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and result-driven Admission Counselor to join our EdTech team. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students and working professionals to make informed decisions about educational programs and career paths. This role requires excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students / professionals about courses, career options, and admission procedures.
- Handle outbound calls, emails, convert them into admissions.
- Understand learners’ requirements and suggest suitable programs.
- Provide complete details about courses, eligibility, admission process, and fee structure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and working professionals.
- Achieve monthly / quarterly admission targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions using CRM / Excel.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and academic teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.Ability to handle pressure and meet targets.Good organizational and follow-up skills.Comfortable with phone calls, video counseling, and presentations.Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM software.Qualification
