Java API Developer

Position Description :

Work independently on detailed design and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Kafka streaming, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Junit, Cucumber, Robot framework, WireMock.
• Should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into application design
• Have hands-on experience on applications deployed to the cloud, focusing on Automation, Process Improvement, Performance Improvement and so on
• Have hand-on experience on Cloud Native, Microservices.
• Hands-on Expertise on entire DEVOPS lifecycle including Containerization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Must-Have Skills :

Experience in Java script, Micro services, Pl / SQL, Kafka, Web Application. Java / J2ee and Microservices, REST API & SOAP Web services, Spring JPA & Spring Security.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java Technology

Should have worked in a development environment for a minimum of 6 years

Exposure to Microservice tools OPEN SHIFT, Kubernetes, docker

Exposure to DevOps tools Bootstrap, Elasticsearch, SonarQube

Exposure to Agile practices and tools

The job involves converting the high-level design specs into low level design and implement it.

Knowledge of Telecom solution and having worked on high performant systems would be an advantage
