Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Level Merchandiser who can independently manage end-to-end merchandising operations, including product development, costing, sourcing, production follow-up, TNA management, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of fabrics, trims, production processes, wash techniques, cost negotiation, and buyer communication. This role requires someone capable of leading a team, managing multiple styles / seasons simultaneously, and ensuring timely delivery with high quality.
Skills Required

- Expertise in TNA planning and execution
- Strong in costing, negotiation, and price finalization
- Skilled in vendor sourcing and relationship management
- Proficient in Excel and ERP / Inventory systems

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience coordinating with sampling, design, production, and QA
- Capable of managing pressure, deadlines, and multiple styles simultaneously
Key Responsibilities :
Product Development & Planning
Lead proto sampling, development, and approvalsPrepare tech packs, BOMs, spec sheets, and costingIdentify fabric / trim issues and propose solutionsCoordinate with design, sampling, and technical teamsCosting & Sourcing
Prepare cost sheets and negotiate pricing and lead timesFinalize pricing with managementSource, evaluate, and develop new vendorsTNA & Production Execution
Create and monitor TNA for all stylesEnsure timely ordering and in-house status of fabrics and trimsCoordinate production planning and resolve delays or issuesConduct weekly reviews with vendors and internal teamsVendor & Buyer Management
Manage daily buyer and buying house communicationHandle documentation, sampling, approvals, and commentsSupport audits, compliance activities, and vendor relationship buildingQuality & Delivery
Ensure quality checkpoints throughout productionMonitor washes, prints, embroidery, and job-work accuracyAchieve 100% on-time deliveryMaintain updated reports, trackers, and approvalsQualifications
15–20 years of experience in merchandising, with strong and proven experience in woven apparelStrong knowledge of fabrics, trims, washes, and garment productionExpertise in TNA planning and executionExcellent communication and buyer-handling skillsStrong costing, negotiation, and analytical abilitiesProficiency in Excel, ERP, and inventory systemsAbility to lead junior team members and work cross-functionallyDegree in Fashion Technology, Textile, Apparel, or related fields preferred.
