Job Title : Freelance Interior Designer

We are seeking a skilled freelance interior designer to create modern, minimalistic Japanese-inspired spaces for our cafe.

• Design interior and exterior concepts reflecting authentic Japanese minimalism and modern aesthetics
• Create detailed design proposals, mood boards, and 3D renderings
• Source and recommend materials, furniture, and fixtures aligned with Japanese design principles
• Collaborate remotely with our team and local contractors
• Ensure designs are culturally respectful and commercially viable for the Saudi market

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of Japanese design philosophy including wabi-sabi, ma, simplicity and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools. Experience designing F&B or hospitality spaces is preferred but not necessary. Excellent remote communication and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will be able to authentically translate Japanese design principles into functional, beautiful cafe interiors and exteriors. They will be highly organized, able to work independently, and possess excellent time management skills.
