Job descriptionEducation : A Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but an ITI or NCTVT in Electrical is also acceptable. Experience : A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in electrical detail design. Hands-on experience with Revit is mandatory, specifically in 3D modeling, cable tray, duct bank, and conduit design. Leadership : Proven experience as a lead designer on projects for executing electrical scope is an advantage. Soft Skills : Good communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to work on your own initiative while being a committed team player.
We are seeking a Revit Designer to be responsible for the development of 3D models and 2D drawings of various electrical systems for industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Revit and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure all designs are accurate, clash-free, and meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Model and Drawing Development : Develop Revit 3D models and 2D drawings for electrical systems, including :
- Single-line diagrams of power systems.
- Layouts for electrical cable trays, equipment, and duct banks .
- Interconnection and hook-up drawings.
- Lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
- Coordination : Work closely with other disciplines and stakeholders to create a clash-free system design .
- Project Management : Manage the assigned scope to stay within the agreed-upon schedule and budget while complying with project quality norms.
- Mentoring : Train new staff members on various tools and discipline practices.
- Quality Control : Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to self-check and produce accurate work.
