Purpose of Role :

A Composites Methods Engineer specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing processes of composite materials They ensure that composite materials (like carbon fiber, fiberglass, and resins) are effectively integrated into product designs and manufactured efficiently. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the roles and responsibilities of a Composites Methods Engineer.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Design and Development

• Develop methods for the design and manufacturing of composite materials for components and structures.
• Work with design teams to ensure composite materials meet the necessary structural, thermal, and durability requirements.
• Evaluate and analyze product designs for manufacturability and suggest design changes to optimize the use of composite materials.
• Generate CAD models, technical drawings, and tooling designs for composite components.
• Provide recommendations to improve product designs, focusing on manufacturability and material performance.
