Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with a strong understanding of Spring Boot, and hands-on experience (or exposure) with APIGEE(Add-on) and Chef(Add-on), to join our security-focused development team. The primary responsibility will be to remediate reported security vulnerabilities identified through scanning tools, work closely with application teams, and deliver timely patches and fixes to secure enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyse and remediate vulnerabilities reported by security scanning tools (e.g., OXSecurity, Qualys, Blackduck, etc.).
• Collaborate with application development teams to implement security fixes and coordinate patch releases.
• Work with CI / CD pipelines to ensure secure and compliant code deployments.
• Enhance existing Java / Spring Boot applications to address security weaknesses such as injection flaws, broken authentication, misconfigurations, etc.
• Support API security and governance using APIGEE as an API gateway solution.
• Use Chef (as an add-on skill) for automating patch deployment and configuration changes, if required.
• Maintain proper documentation of security fixes and track remediation progress.
• Participate in vulnerability triage meetings and provide technical guidance on secure coding best practices
