Product Owner

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Work with Product Managers to understand features that have been assigned to the development pod.
• Take full ownership of the features assigned to them from start to finish, ensuring that they fully understand all requirements and have clearly communicated these to development teams.
• Prioritize development work based on project planning and identified dependencies
• Define epics and user stories in JIRA and understand dependencies on development items for delivery of a feature.
• Create every development ticket in their project JIRA boards and be able to explain the business requirements and impacts of the proposed functionality change to development and QA teams.
• Be an expert in the functional components that make up the software and how new features impact different functional areas of the software, with a particular focus on the expertise of their development pod
• Prototype software features, using tools such as wireframes, user workflow diagrams or sample margin calculators
• Work alongside the QA team to define acceptance criteria and sign off development feature as they are produced
• Test new functionality in the UI, using the APIs or through SFTP / file drop mechanisms
• Produce development plans, reporting metrics and project documentation to communicate with internal stakeholders
