Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

  • We're seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • This role involves assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • You'll develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Monitoring system performance, analyzing trends, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency is a key aspect of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI / CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.
  • Manage and maintain self-hosted and on-premises assets, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

    • Requirements :

  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Strong understanding of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Familiarity with automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Ability to monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
