Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and Creative Copy Lead / Brand or Social Media Manager who writes and leads the creation of compelling copy for promotional content and also manages social media presence and strategy. This senior leadership role requires an exceptional wordsmith who can elevate brand narratives, lead creative teams and support our performance campaign team in executing client campaigns and managing day-to-day content requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Ideation & Excellence : Craft compelling content, provide creative input on day-to-day briefs, scripts, and innovative campaigns that elevate campaign performance. Lead content and campaign ideation processes, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to brand communication challenges.

Ownership : Maintain complete ownership and accountability for all copy deliverables across assigned accounts.

Team Collaboration and Brainstorming : Collaborate with clients, creative directors, brand strategists, and other department leads to develop integrated campaigns and lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas.

Research & Insights : Conduct thorough brand and industry research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive insights. Prepare and share regular reports highlighting content performance and engagement metrics.

Content Ideation & Development : Contribute creative ideas for social media content and campaign initiatives. Assist in creating content development plans and calendars based on brand objectives and target audience insights.

Content Execution & Management : Execute approved content plans across various social media platforms while ensuring accurate and timely posting. Manage community engagement by responding to comments and messages in the brand's voice.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with internal creative, copy, and video production teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns. Follow up on deliverables to ensure quality and timely completion.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in creative copywriting & social media management with at least 2 years in a senior role, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency.

Proven portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative writing, strategic thinking, and versatility across different platforms and industries

Experience leading creative teams and mentoring junior copywriters

Experience with content management and scheduling tools

Willingness to learn continuously and stay updated with industry trends

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies & trends, social media platforms, content formats, content planning, and campaign development

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
