Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications and portals on Liferay DXP. The role involves advanced portlet development, custom modules, theme design, headless APIs, and integration with enterprise systems to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Total Experience :

3–5 years in Liferay development and enterprise portal solutions

Proven expertise in Liferay DXP, custom modules, portlets, and integrations

Education Qualification

Min. Education : MSc-IT / MCA / B.Tech / B.E. from a reputed institute

Technical Skills

Liferay Platform : Liferay DXP, Liferay Service Builder, Custom Modules & Ext Plugins

Java & Frameworks : Java 1.8 / 11, OSGi, Spring Framework

Portlet Development : MVC, MVCPortlet, JSF, Vaadin

UI & Themes : Liferay Themes, Layout Templates, Fragments, JSP / Servlets

APIs & Integration : Liferay Headless APIs, REST APIs, Workflow & Kaleo, SSO, LDAP

Content Management : Document & Content Management, Role & Permission Management

Migration & Optimization : Liferay Upgrade, Migration, Performance Optimization, Caching

Frontend : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular

Database : SQL

Relevant Skills

Advanced portlet development (MVC, MVCPortlet, JSF, Vaadin)

Designing and implementing custom Liferay services and entities with Service Builder

Developing and managing themes, layout templates, and fragments

Building and integrating REST and headless APIs

Implementing workflows (Kaleo), document & content management features

Migrating and upgrading Liferay versions with performance tuning and caching

Role / permission management, SSO, and LDAP integration

Strong UI / UX development using modern frameworks (React, Angular)

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and portals on Liferay DXP

Build custom portlets, modules, themes, and templates tailored to business requirements

Implement Liferay Service Builder for custom entities and services

Integrate REST / Headless APIs and external enterprise systems

Manage workflows (Kaleo), content repositories, and document management

Upgrade and migrate existing portals to newer Liferay versions

Optimize performance through caching, tuning, and efficient design

Configure and manage roles, permissions, SSO, and LDAP integrations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation
