General Summary :

As a Shoe Technician, you will be responsible ensuring the technical specifications of our footwear products while ensuring compliance with our company's policies regarding compliance and aesthetics. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that all products meet our design standards and are produced in a cost-effective manner. In this role, you will be responsible for executing product development samples, sales samples, and confirmation samples. This position requires a strong understanding of footwear design and production, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all footwear products meet our company's standards and comply with our policies regarding compliance and technical standards. You will work closely with our production and design teams to identify technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve product quality. In this role, you will use your knowledge of footwear technics to ensure that our products meet customer expectations and comply with all applicable regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Maintain technical specifications for all footwear products while ensuring compliance with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards;
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure that products meet technical standards and cost targets while complying with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards;
Execute product development samples, sales samples, and confirmation samples;
Analyze product performance data and make recommendations for improvement while ensuring compliance with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards;
Research new materials and production techniques to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness while complying with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards;

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product design and production while ensuring compliance with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards.

Inspect footwear products at various stages of production to identify quality issues;

Implement corrective actions to improve product quality and ensure compliance with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards;

Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to production and design teams;

Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure that all products meet technical standards and comply with our company's policies regarding compliance and standards;

Maintain detailed records of technical inspections and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date;

Develop and implement training programs to educate production and design teams on processes and procedures;

Communicate with suppliers to ensure that they understand our technical standards and can meet our requirements while complying with our company's policies regarding compliance and technical standards.

Required Skills and Competencies :

Excellent problem-solving skills;

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

Knowledge of CAD software and other design tools;

Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Knowledge of compliance regulations and technical standards in the footwear industry.

Minimum Experience & Education :

10+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of footwear design and techniques.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in executing product development samples, sales samples, and confirmation samples;

Experience in conducting quality inspections and implementing corrective actions;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other quality control software tools.
