The Opportunity : This is a first-of-its-kind opportunity for experienced technical line managers and technology managers in India to take a pivotal role in delivering Ericsson's 5G New Radio (NR) solutions on high-performance General Purpose Processors (GPP). In this role, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams in architecting, developing, and optimizing L1 and L2 software for 5G — and help architect the foundational technology for the transition to 6G.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor high-performance engineering teams building cutting-edge 5G NR L1 / L2 functionalities on GPP architectures.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmaps aligning with Ericsson's global product evolution plans.
• Own software architecture decisions considering scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with global R&D units to integrate features and align technical direction.
• Ensure software delivery meets rigorous quality, performance, and conformance requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose adoption aligned to product ambitions for both 5G and early 6G research.
