Job description

1. Daily Operations & Facility Management :

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the mall and multiplex, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily rounds to inspect common areas, parking facilities, restrooms, and the multiplex for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues.
  • Supervise and coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Manage the work order system, ensuring timely resolution of all maintenance requests from tenants and internal departments.

2. Tenant & Customer Service Support :

  • Serve as a primary operational contact for tenants, addressing their concerns related to facilities, maintenance, and mall services promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the coordination of tenant move-ins / move-outs and store fit-outs, ensuring compliance with mall standards.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints on the floor, providing effective solutions to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • 3. Safety, Security & Compliance :

  • Ensure full compliance with all safety, security, and statutory regulations (e.g., Fire Safety, ADA, OSHA).
  • Assist in conducting regular emergency drills (fire, earthquake) and training for mall staff and security personnel.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for shoppers and tenants.
  • Maintain all operational logs, checklists, and documentation as per company policy.
  • 4. Multiplex Operations Coordination :

  • Work closely with the multiplex management team to ensure operational synergy, especially during peak hours, movie releases, and special events.
  • Coordinate shared services like crowd management, HVAC, power, and common area cleaning for the multiplex zone.
  • 5. Administrative & Reporting :

  • Assist the Mall Manager in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor and control inventory of operational supplies and critical spare parts.
  • Help manage the departmental budget and track operational expenses.
  • Required :  Minimum of 6 years of experience in mall operations, multiplex management, retail management, or a related hospitality / hospitality field.
  • 6. Education :

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is required.
  • Additional certifications in Facility Management (e.g., CFM) or Health & Safety will be an advantage.
  • 7. Experience :

  • Required :  Minimum of 6 years of experience in mall operations, multiplex management, retail management, or a related hospitality / hospitality field.
