Employment mode : Contract-to-Hire
Work model : Hybrid (3 days work from Office)
Experience : - 7+ years of hands-on experience in python backend engineer with GCP.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python.

Develop microservices-based architectures and integrate with cloud-native components.

Implement and maintain backend data workflows and processing pipelines.

Optimize performance, reliability, and security of backend services.

Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams for feature delivery.

Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.

Implement best practices for CI / CD, monitoring, and automation on GCP.

Technical Skills & Experience :

Core Requirements :

Strong proficiency in Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks).

Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub / Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.

Exposure to AWS as a secondary cloud platform.

Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Bigtable, Firestore, Redis).

Nice to Have :

Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Netflix Conductor.

Knowledge of streaming and batch data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Beam.

Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging / streaming platforms.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Prior experience in data-intensive or cloud-native application development is a plus
