Dynatrace Performance Monitoring Engineer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER .

We are looking for a Senior Observability Engineer with strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), Synthetic Monitoring, and Dynatrace to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure, and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid / multi-cloud environments.
• Lead Dynatrace APM adoption with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
• Define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
• Integrate observability tooling ( preferred : Catchpoint, Dynatrace ) to deliver unified insights .
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
• Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling / standards for synthetic monitoring.
• Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
• Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
• Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.
