Utility Engineer

Role : Utility Engineer-Projects

Location : Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh

Reporting to : Head of Projects

Client : European food processing organization.

The candidate should have a strong background in utility systems, including boilers, pumping systems, water treatment plants, Effluent treatment plants, Ammonia refrigeration, Oil storage, and HVAC systems. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent project execution skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge in effluent recycle system and zero liquid discharge shall be preference.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and schedule daily tasks for the installation and commissioning of utility systems.

Coordinate with vendors for timely equipment delivery and site visits for FAT.

Ensure project compliance with local codes and regulations.

Perform risk assessments to avoid project delays.

Conduct heat & mass balance for various systems (boiler, water, ammonia, etc.).

Collaborate with detail engineering teams for system designs and manage contractor relationships.

Perform site inspections, ensure quality standards, and track progress with project dashboards .

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Ensure compliance with CPCB, NGT, CGWA, and other regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For :

Education : Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience : 6-8 years in utility projects, with expertise in boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, water treatment, effluents treatment etc.

Certifications : PMC is a plus.

Skills : Strong technical acumen, project management, communication, and the ability to multitask.
