Mobile QA Engineer

Job descriptionDevelop and maintain automated testing solutions for mobile applications using tools such as Appium or Experitest. Set up and integrate mobile automation testing as part of the CI / CD pipeline in collaboration with DevOps teams. Design and implement test strategies, including test pyramid design, to ensure robust testing of mobile backends. Collaborate closely with backend QAs to align on comprehensive testing approaches. Test and validate super apps and mini-apps for functionality, performance, and scalability. Support triaging of issues during software promotions to production by working with Business Analysts (BAs) and Product Owners. Ensure adherence to best practices and deliver high-quality software by thoroughly identifying, documenting, and addressing defects.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Hands-on experience in mobile app automation testing tools (e.g., Appium, Experitest, or similar).
- Proven expertise in setting up mobile automation pipelines integrated with CI / CD.
- Strong knowledge of super apps and mini-app architectures and testing strategies.
- Excellent understanding of test strategy formulation and test pyramid design for mobile backend
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with experience in triaging issues in production environments.
- Experience working collaboratively with DevOps teams, backend QAs, BAs, and product owners.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
