Job description

Candidates available to join within a notice period of 30–45 days are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end transitions for mid- to large-scale deals, ensuring smooth delivery and minimal service disruption.
  • Define and align transition success criteria, outputs, and deliverables with onsite and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, manage, and track detailed transition plans and stream-specific activities (KT plans, IT / application provisioning for new joiners, reporting, RAID logs, etc.).
  • Oversee and monitor Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions with SMEs, ensuring complete technical and process coverage.
  • Measure the effectiveness of KT and other transition streams, identifying gaps and mitigating risks proactively.
  • Provide regular status updates and detailed progress reports to stakeholders, including onsite teams and leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery, operations, and onsite teams to drive seamless execution.
  • Ensure accurate process documentation, including reviewing and validating Process Maps and SOPs.
  • Drive all transition milestones—Transition Kick-off, KT, Ramp-up, Go-Live, tollgates, and final transition closure.
  • Identify, track, and manage risks and issues, taking timely corrective actions.
  • Offer expertise, guidance, and best practices in transition management.
  • Conduct go / no-go readiness assessments and support smooth service acceptance into steady-state operations.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to strengthening organizational transition frameworks and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in risk management, decision-making, and handling pressure.
  • Leadership and people management skills to drive cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong governance, quality compliance, and reporting discipline.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, handle escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Requirements

  • 12–15 years of total experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in IT / Non-IT transition management.
  • Proven track record in leading mid- to large-scale transitions from the US or other global regions to India.
  • Hands-on experience in knowledge transfer planning, service migration, and client onboarding.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to address broad issues and facilitate informed decision-making.
